Fulton First Christian Church

FCC works with Our House and Wiley House, Fulton's two shelters to give people a place to stay and help break the cycle of homelessness. We provide over 3000 meals a year for residents of Wiley house by cooking and grocery shopping for 2 weekends each month. This past year we collected a truck load of paper products and laundry pods for their clients. Each quarter we also offer a monetary donation.

FCC was instrumental in establishing the Salvation Army Service Unit of Callaway County. Determining that the greatest need in the community is meeting utility costs for many local households, the Service Unit committee organized the first Red Kettle Campaign with funds designated for utilities. First Christian Church provides leadership and is responsible for organizing and coordinating the annual Campaign.

The Super Sam Foundation was founded to fund the major research gap in pediatric cancer. Housed in our church and founded by church members, FCC has dedicated itself to helping comfort those kids with cancer, supporting their families, and helping raise awareness and funds to find a cure for fighting childhood cancer.

FCC partners with the Callaway Library to make sure people have the things they need to be healthy. We collect hygiene items, pack them, and deliver them to the Library to distribute to people in need. Items needed: travel sized lotion, disposable razors, shampoo, body wash, hand towel, wash cloth, large comb or brush, toothpaste, tooth brush in packaging, deodorant.

FCC continues to work with SERVE INC. in a variety of ways throughout the year. Whether it is providing ongoing funding, collecting food for their pantry, adopting families at Christmas time, gathering school supplies, we try and help make an impact in our community!
