Wosrhip at First Christian Church

We gather at 10:30 online and in-person for a blended worship service. In our worship, there is a mix of old and new with an emphasis on congregational participation. Worship is not just something one observes, but does!

Music is one of the best ways to worship our God of grace and mercy. In our worship service we express ourselves through any different types of music: hymns, praise songs, spirituals, and more. 

Whatever's comfortable! No seriously. We don't want our clothes to serve as a barrier to worship. If you want to wear your Sunday's best, go ahead. You won't be the only one. If you want to wear something with elastic, go ahead you won't be the only one.

Kids are worshiping creatures just like adults, so we think it's important to include them in what we do! Each week, we have a children's sermon one one of the scripture lessons.  A children's bulletin is provided too. We also have worship bags full of stuff to keep hands busy!

Yes. Gathering at the Lord's Table is one of, if not the, most important things we do as Christians. As such, we gather for Communion each week, joining with Christ to partake of the bread and cup. Right now we are utilizing individual communion packs because of COVID.

We livestream our worship gathering each Sunday via Facebook live. You do not have to have Facebook to worship online with us, though. Just go to our facebook page on Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM and you'll be directed on how to join us!
